The Village at Northstar, just minutes from Schaffer’s Mill and home to the Schaffer’s Mill Basecamp ski-lounge, adds a variety of fun and adventure to your Tahoe lifestyle. In the winter, the resort offers 3,180 acres of skiing for all skill levels, with a vertical drop of 2,280 feet. At the center of the village is the iconic skating rink, which bustles with activity all winter long. There’s a great variety of restaurants, cafes and apres-ski venues that add to your ski-village experience. 

In the summer, Northstar transforms into a world of outdoor mountain adventure. The Village offers rock climbing, trampoline sessions, bungee jumping, and more – all surrounded by a great mix of village shops and restaurants that remain open year-round. Northstar has some of the best hiking and biking trails in the area, and there’s chairlift access to many of the mountain trails. Hikers can explore the whole mountain on their own or can take part in guided hikes throughout the summer. 

While the nearby ski villages add great variety to your Tahoe lifestyle, what adds even more is the ease of access provided by our Basecamp and shuttle service. Located across from Starbucks in Northstar Village, Basecamp provides member-access to ski and snowboard storage, boot dryers, day lockers, drinks, snacks and entertainment. Add in the convenience of the Schaffer’s Mill Shuttle Service, which provides transportation to and from Northstar, and you have an incredible ski-in, ski-out-like experience.
