Weaving its way through the towering pines, this Johnny Miller/John Harbottle designed course creates two memorable nine-hole experiences at Schaffer’s Mill; The “meadow” nine and the “mountain” nine. The course plays to over 7,000 yards and, according to Golf Digest, offers one of the best all-around golf experiences in the Tahoe area.
TENNIS
Schaffer’s Mill features one of the premier tennis programs in the Tahoe area, with weekly clinics, camps, celebrity events and tennis-themed social mixers open to all ages and skill levels. Conveniently located adjacent to the Clubhouse, the Schaffer’s Mill tennis complex is quickly becoming a favorite amenity of tennis players of all levels and all age groups.
NORTH VILLAGE CLUBHOUSE
The North Village is your vibrant community gathering spot, complete with a resort style pool, covered patio dining, an event lawn and a host of recreational and social amenities, complete with a Club Concierge to help you access it all. Grab a mountain bike for an afternoon trail ride or challenge yourself with a vigorous workout or specialty class at the Fitness Center. And when it’s time to recover, you can soothe yourself in the Schaffer’s Hot Springs, a collection of hot tubs nestled in the rock outcroppings of Schaffer’s Square.
THE SAWYER
The Sawyer is the perfect spot to enjoy a fireside meal with family and friends, whether indoors or on the expansive outdoor patio, complete with cool summer temperatures and scenic views of Lookout Mountain. Members can store their most cherished wines in our temperature-controlled, personal wine lockers located in the private dining room. There’s even an authentic, wood-fired brick pizza oven, which is sure to be a favorite among kids and adults alike.

Welcome to the Schaffer’s Mill ‘Party in the Park.’ It’s a relatively simple idea that has become a favorite of members and guests alike. There’s no fancy production, just friendly people enjoying tasty food and cold drinks around the fire pits of Lakeside Park. These parties have quickly become the talk of the community and have taken on a life of their own. No need to RSVP – at Schaffer’s Mill you’re always invited, so just show up any Saturday after 6 p.m. throughout the summer and get ready for great food, drinks and camaraderie.
